We finally had him..

Last April 26 at 5:35 in the afternoon I delivered our healthy baby boy. We went to the hospital Friday evening since my contraction is 3 minutes apart. We spend the night at the hospital but been awake almost for the whole night since the nurse asked me to walk around the hospital as my exercise. Saturday morning at 8 o’clock they hooked me up with an IV to induce me again since my cervix is only 2 cm open. And finally at 12 noon, my water breaks and just after 10 minutes my cervix is 9 cm open already which is too late to put me into painless medication. I don’t have any choice but to deliver my baby normal. To deliver a 8.4 lbs and 21 inches long baby without using any painless medication is indeed a tough one! I thought I’m gonna die on that day..it took me 3 hours before the baby comes out. I have been begging to the doctor to do CS since I can’t bare the pain anymore. But right after I asked my mother in-law to offer a prayer, the baby finally came out! The doctor said “ The prayer is so powerful”. She said, if I still don’t have my baby after 15 minutes she’s gonna do CS but luckily I’m a strong woman and didn’t give up. According from her, my baby is not for my size, the reason why my baby got a cone in his head. Good thing the cone disappeared after 24 hours. I am so blessed and happy that I was able to survive the pain, It’s hard to believed to have my baby without using any painless medication. I am also thankful to my husband and to my in-laws who never left me from the time I arrived in the hospital, they’re always there comforting and praying for me. I've been laying with my baby right now here in our bedroom, he is sleeping really good and I have been staring at him for almost an hour now, trying to wake him up :-) he is really a cute baby and funny, he makes all kinds of funny faces when I tried to wakes him up..his smiled sometimes which makes me really laughed even if I'm alone hehehehe. I have gone through with lots of pain when I delivered him but everything is worth..he is a good baby, he only cries when he peed, poo or hungry other than that, he sleeps all the time. I am so blessed to have a baby like him..he is so adorable.

Chilly!

This year is really tough! The temperature is still freezing unlike last year. At this time I can already hang around outside our house wearing a sleeveless or a shirt. But now, I'm still wearing thick clothes inside our house and can't go outside without wearing sweat shirt or coat..I wonder why the temperature is still freezing..its cloudy outside and seems like it will rain soon! Now im stuck inside our house and can't go anywhere plus of course I have my baby boy already which also keeping me inside hehehehe.

I know its been quite a while since I posted something here and I apologized for that, I have been so busy after I deliver my baby boy plus I don;t have that enough strong to sit in front of my laptop to do something online. It took me week before I was able to check my mails online. What A Blessings!

I know its kind of late to share this with you but I just got time now..been busy for quite a while doing nothing hehehehehe. Kidding, i've been so lazy to write anything here lately due to my pregnancy..Anyway, what I wanted to share with you is about my filipina friends who visited me last Sunday. I met them last year in during the car show. They had been very nice to me ever since, I treat them like my older sister. Last Sunday they brought lots of filipino stuff for me like; dried fish, salty fish, bibingka, jack fruit and many other things. I am really thankful and blessed to have a friend like them. I feel embarrassed though because I didn't prepare any special foods, we just bought some pies, bread and then soda as their snacks. I promised to myself to invite them again on my brithday which is next month. But eventhough we don't have good foods, still we had a blast! They enjoyed singing in magic sing I took some pictures of them but I will show it later..I still have to edit the size of that pictures and I don't have enough time right now

Anyway, I want to thank them all for being so nice to me..I wish they lived close to me and spend more time..God is really wonderful for giving me such a nice friends like them..I'll treasure them forever.

False Labor:-(

It's been 3 days since I post an entry here, just got back online from my false labor :-). Last thursday night we went to the hospital and stayed there for an hour. I have a contractions for almost 5 hours and take note 3 mins apart! I started to have contractions around 8pm. Hubby wants to bring me to the hospital right away but I refused because I don't feel any pain, but he insisted, he'd already put the car seat in our car as well as our suitcase, so I don't have any choice but to get dress and go with him (lisod man sad ug cya lang ug muadto ug hospital nga ako may buros). Plus the nurse told us on phone to go in the hospital because Asian people most likely less in pain when they had contractions compared to American women. My mother in-law accompanied us (my father in-law is in the hospital for his chemo) to maternity ward, we stayed there for an hour, checking the status of my contractions and the heart beat of our baby. Everything went normal with my baby, he is active inside that everybody's can hear his moved and kicked! but we decided to go home after one hour because my cervix is still close, though my contractions is 3 minutes apart. the nurse advice us to stay close in the hospital. Anyway, it's been 3 days now after that false labor but I still don't have my baby. I'm still 38 weeks pregnant though so nothing's to worry about.
I really want to deliver the baby now because all the muscles in my stomach is really thin that makes it really painful, feels like it's burning. Everyone says, I look so uncomfortable with my belly and it's true..I could hardly walk and stand. I noticed lots of unsual things in my body..but anyway, it doesn't matter as long as my baby is normal and healthy..It could be anytime now and we'll see him soon.

What A Wonderful Day!

Indeed it's a great day for us here, sun is shining brightly, no signs of rain nor snow. How wonderful to go outside and feel the heat of the sun into your skin. It's been quite a while since I went outside and stay under the sun. The freezing temperature makes me stay inside our home and thank God that finally I can do some errands outside our house. We are so blessed to lived in a very peaceful and grenery place. Can't wait to do fishing again in the lake nearby..

First Day of the Week!

I sleep goood today and I'm happy about it..even if it's still cloudy outside. I just woke up now and ready to make my breakfast. My husband calle dme twice already today, he keep checking on me since he knew I was having a hard time with my belly now..I am so happy and lucky to have a husband who always spoiled me with everything..anyway last Saturday is my baby showe..if you want to read about it..visit my other blog. Cloudy Day!

Yesterday on the way to the hospital for my prenatal check up, the road is very nasty because it's snowing for the whole night. My husband has to use four wheels for our extra safety. But thank God that right after my prenatal check up, snow is melting already and we got home safe.

Today is not a good day either, it's cloudy and seems like the rain is soon to come! bUt rain is better anyway as long as the temperature is not below zero. Tress and grass needs some water too because right now, they all look dead as in brown kaau..walay life. Right now, i'm just in my bed and lazy to do anything because of the weather hehehehehe. So i'll guess i have to go now and sleep again
